Charm for Bullet-Proof’ Fails, Strikes Cult Member to Death During Initiation in Benue

A bulletproof charm, allegedly prepared during the initiation ceremony for one Kator Tsegba, a suspected cultist, at Ihungwanor in Mbayion District of Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State, failed and killed the man.
It was gathered that Tsegba met his dead end, while trying to test his charm, after consuming an unnamed concoction at the initiation ground.

But, when a relation of the deceased got wind of the incident, he reportedly raised the alarm, which attracted the attention of police officers from Gboko A Division.

Reports have it that Dooiyor Fatmann, a Superintendent of Police and Divisional Police Officer, when informed moved into the district with his anti-cultism officers and succeeded in arresting 13 of the suspects.

However, Nathaniel Shaku, an okadaman in Gboko, alleged that the suspected cultists may have killed the initiate for failing the test.
